They also understand the profession better than someone who's never been in network marketing. So, once they sign up to your team and get through training, they'll yield results much faster (and with less instruction) than a regular person.

Lastly, they possibly know other active network marketers: their upline, front line, and even cross-line people they ran into at their company conference. These are the kind of people you want as a Prepaid Legal Associate in your team.

They're in a business, though, and not likely looking to embark upon something new. It's your job to softly, and carefully, pique their attention without setting off any landmines.

The best way to do this is to lead with an offer that helps them in their existing opportunity... something unrelated to your program. Something generic, like marketing tools or coaching.

Earn their trust, and make clear your worth to them by helping them move forward with their existing business. Show them that, unlike their existing sponsor, you are training them things that yield results. But make it clear that the only people who get your full focus are the people contributing to your financial success.

At that time, getting started with your team will be the next rational action.

In conclusion, you can target potential customers, you can go after opportunity seekers, or you can pursue active network marketers. Of the three, active multi-level marketers have the utmost potential to explode your group with the least effort. Focus your effort there, and your income will never be the same.
